Steven Rauscher is a biopharmaceutical industry veteran with decades of experience in executive leadership, clinical development, and executive search. As a Strategic Advisor to Crossover Search, he provides guidance on senior physician executive recruiting, leveraging his deep industry knowledge and extensive network.

Steven has served as CEO for multiple biotech companies and a CRO, overseeing clinical research operations and managing over 500 clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas. He has recruited over 150 Principal Investigators and played a key role in medical leadership hiring throughout his career.

As the Founder & Principal of BioPharm Physicians, Steven has spent the past 14 years specializing in executive search for senior physician roles in biotech, pharmaceutical, and medical device companies. Previously, he was a Board Member at Acorda Therapeutics, a Partner at Euromedica, and held multiple executive roles, including CEO of Genome Therapeutics and Oscient Pharmaceuticals. His early career at Abbott Laboratories spanned 17 years, where he led corporate licensing, business development, and sales.

Steven also co-founded and administers the Boston CMO Network, fostering connections among senior physician executives. His expertise in clinical development, executive search, and biopharma leadership makes him a key resource in helping companies identify top-tier medical and scientific leaders.
