THE ASSIGNMENT.
To assist the Head, of Global Medical Evidence in recruiting a hands-on Director of Medical Evidence who could build and oversee an evidence generative strategy for a pipeline asset with multiple indications.
THE CHALLENGE.
We were asked to find a Director level candidate who could lead and oversee all of the HEOR, RWE, and Evidence-generation strategies needed to support the global medical communication plan of an asset. This is needed to not only be able to develop strategies but also be bale to develop innovative models and work cross-functionally inside global medical affairs to ensure a strong evidence-generation plan.
THE OUTCOME.
Within two weeks, we presented 5 candidates for the hiring manager to meet with. With a high-priority asset, they moved quickly to identify two lead candidates and made a hire within 4 weeks of submission. The lead candidate had 10 years of experience developing and executing integrated value evidence strategies. They had a track record of strategically supping phase assets and being able to help launch products by communicating strong medical evidence which was communicated through multiple medical affairs channels. The candidate had sat on several early-phase asset teams and understood how essential a strong medical evidence plan was to a medical affairs launch readiness plan.
