Executive Director Clinical Development - Neurology

THE ASSIGNMENT.

We partnered with a clinical-stage biotech utilizing its platform to develop differentiated small molecule therapeutics for immunology, inflammation and neurology disorders. We just worked with the CEO to help recruit a VP/Head of Clinical Development (Immunology) and this will be the Sr. Director/Executive Director Clinical Development to lead Neurology clinical development efforts.

THE CHALLENGE.

This biotech did not have a Chief Medical Officer and this role reported to a newly hired VP of Clinical Development who specialized in immunology/inflammation. Our client was looking for a clinical research physician with specialization in neurodegenerative diseases who was experienced in early and late-stage clinical development. They needed an MD with industry clinical trials experience.

THE OUTCOME.

We recruited an Executive Director Clinical Development Neurology out of a leading neurology program. The candidate was presented within 5 weeks and signed the offer within 3 months of starting the search. We presented several candidates who fit our client’s search criteria and they were able to select this candidate from a slate of strong options.
