Bringing over 20 years of agency experience, in both recruitment and Executive Leadership, I joined Crossover Search to pursue my passion for Executive level recruitment within a mission focused industry. With my foundation of recruiting for roles that were connected to the C level it was a natural fit to focus on positions in Investor Relations, Corporate Communications, Finance, and Human Resources at Crossover Search. I believe that a true recruitment partner is there to build and develop a long term relationship with both clients and candidates. The connections that I make allow me to get to know the people I am working with and their motivators, tapping into their EQ. In turn, I love to share market knowledge and industry trends that I obtain by being fully immersed in the functions that I support. I pride myself on being a trusted advisor to those who partner with me, always being accessible and available and providing follow up and feedback in every situation that I can.
Attending Syracuse University and graduating with a BA in Psychology and Television, Radio and Film has opened many doors for me during my career, including one to Crossover Search. Knowing Marc Silber since college, through his friendship with my brother, Chris Portanova, I knew that Marc always had an entrepreneurial spirit and would own his own business one day. We all left Syracuse with different career paths, but recruiting became another common thread between us. Marc hired Chris to help him build Crossover Search and watching their business grow for years I was lucky enough to join the team in 2021.
Currently living in Monmouth County, NJ with my husband and two growing boys Caden and TJ I do my best to manage the balancing act of being a working parent. When not recruiting I love planning adventures for my family, any great DIY before and after, reading or listening to a great book, peloton cycling and yoga, and I am a great problem solver, logistics expert and somehow have become the unofficial technical support for my family and friends.
